CMP USA F4U Corsair 120 - 75.5 ARF Nitro Gas Radio Controlled RC Warbird Plane

The F4U Corsair is a real beauty. Anyone who likes the war birds is bound to love this airplane. The kit includes a fiberglass fuselage, and is painted with a blue and gray scheme.. The wings are sheeted foam, covered with Solortex cloth covering and painted. All control surfaces have beveled leading edges and the control horn mounts are preinstalled. The wing is complete with CA hinges. The leading edge of the wing is pre-shaped. Completely workable three-piece flaps are also built into this kit. This kit can be fitted with either fix landing gear or 90 degree rotating retracts. Note: See pictures below for actual paint scheme used.   *RETRACT NOTE* The retract bays are built into the wing from the factory, so the retracts will drop right in.       Out of the box: As all CMP this kit comes with all parts nicely wrapped in thin foam and plastic bags. Foam wing has pre-hinged ailerons and 3 piece flaps, wing panels joint with Gull center section by 9mm plywood braces. Center piece of the wing is combination of wood ribs and fiberglass shell. Horizontal tail is all wood built up one piece, also pre hinged. Pre-painted canopy and strong fiberglass cowl to save you assembly time. Dummy radial engine, wheels wells and wing radiators are a nice touch. Very complete hardware package including: fuel tank, wheels, motor mount, kit comes with fixed gear option, mechanical rotating retracts can be installed and wing is designed for it. Sheet of decals is included to complete the World War II scheme. Overall very good quality kit for experiences modeler. Unique looks and history make this model a show stopper.
