Jennifer Montez saves lives. As an EMS worker, her job is simply about helping the wounded, no matter what the situation may be. Be it an accident, a crime scene or a fire, Jen shows up, treats the victims and moves on to the next emergency. As a beautiful woman in a mostly male dominated profession, Jen has developed a pretty thick skin. Happily married, she is constantly fending off passes made by fellow EMS workers, cops and firemen. The constant male attention has almost made her too guarded, so whenever any man tries to approach her, she assumes it will be to hit on her. However, when the world of the supernatural intrudes upon her day-to-day life, Jen is forced to reexamine the way she does her job and how she treats her fellow emergency personnel. Along with fireman James MacDonald and policeman Frank Gunzer, Jen comes into contact with a young blonde girl in a flowered shirt at the scene of a car crash. The three of them all clearly see the girl, but when she suddenly disappears, they are not sure they can believe their eyes. However, when she keeps popping up in their lives, they come to realize that they must have some kind of connection to the ghostly girl!
