This remake is the bizarre and tragically gruesome account of what happened to a group of college kids on their way back from Mexico. The nightmare begins one fateful afternoon in rural Texas when five teens pick up a blood-covered hitchhiker. Traumatized after a horrific massacre the previous night, she kills herself right in front of their eyes. The alarmed teens try to seek help from the locals but to no avail. Things become more surreal when they stumble upon a remote homestead, replete with inbred psychopaths, and they are forced to run for their lives, only to be pursued by the chainsaw-wielding, disfigured cannibal we know as Leatherface (Thomas Hewitt). The Leatherface figure stands approximately 12-inches-tall and features an authentic cloth outfit. Leatherface also comes with an axe, chainsaw and display base. Recommended for ages 14 and up.
