This is an ideal first microscope for young kids. It is easy-to-use, interactive, and will introduce kids to the amazing world of insects and spiders. The microscope comes with 12 prepared interactive slides. Press the "Facts" button to learn more about the bug on the slide. Pres the "Quiz" button to test your Bug IQ. Answer questions by pressing the true and false buttons. The Talking Microscope features a 5X focusing magnifier, a light for easy viewing and a soft-comfort eyecup. Kids can use other slides of their own besides the 12 that come with the microscope, but they will not work with the "interactive" feature. Requires 3 "C" batteries (not included).
