This is just the coolest gift! American Forests Historic Trees has created this Science & Technology Tree Growing Kit. On January 31, 1971, Astronaut Stuart Roosa carried sycamore seeds aboard the Apollo XIV space module, orbiting the moon 34 times. The seeds in this kit were picked from the large sycamore trees which were grown from these famous "moon seeds." The canister is approximately 6 inches high and contains seeds, seed starting mix, germination chamber and growing instructions. |
